- coffee cake

day after thanksgiving lunch&dinner potluck with friends.
- turduken & gravy
- mashed potatoes
- green beans
- stuffing
- apple cake
- pumpkin crunch
- wine

satuday. time to hit the gym and burn some serious calories.

90 til infinity

They say that it takes 90 days for something to become a habit. I've attempted blogs/journals in the past but they've always fallen to the wayside.

On that note.. this is day 2 of this blog.

I've added some other things I want to accomplish between now and Spring 2011:

- Industry Certifications (Cisco, EMC, & VMware)
- Learn to play an instrument (other than piano)

I dare me

First of all I'd like to thank one of my friends for re-planting this seed in my head.

Hi. I'm 35 years old. My weight seesaws from 265-275lbs. My knees hurt in the morning.

Two of my more recent accomplishments to date are: 1) getting married in 2008 and 2) riding my bike 200 miles in a day in 2009. I'm hoping to add a few more big accomplishments in the next few years; becoming a dad and finishing a triathlon.

I've been toying with the idea of participating in a triathlon for a few years now. I'm not a good swimmer. I know how to pedal a bike. I hate running... which is to say I don't run.

I'm about to change all that. I've got my sights set on Lavaman Waikoloa in Spring of 2011.

1.5K Swim / 40K Bike / 10K Run
